appeared at the Mouth of the Tyne Festival for the first time on
Sat/Sun July 9th and 10th with our new show of absurdist mime sketches,
An Excess of Overcoats. Audiences -including a Chinese
delegation-gasped at the eternally bawling baby, and were astonished to
see a burglar turn into a wardrobe. They watched as a man
failed-thankfully-to commit suicide by various methods. They were also
amazed to witness a man wearing an infinite number of overcoats!
Finally they shed tears at the world's finest love story (told in 5
mins)! People of all ages enjoyed the show in the beautiful setting of
Tynemouth Metro Station concourse. Live music from Bugman enhanced the
performance, which was free. The show later had a second run in
various venues in North Tyneside and Newcastle in November 2016.
